Your Rotary, Lions, or civic club runs a steady annual event: a dinner, a golf outing, an awards night. You have auctioned the same baskets and gift certificates for years. You are ready for a trip that changes the night, and you want to open the bidding to people beyond the room.

For a Rotary, Lions, or civic club dinner, what sells are trips your members already talk about. A Napa wine trip, a Belize getaway, tickets to the Country Music Awards, or a regional sporting event. These are not generic packages. They feel local, personal, and worth a bid. Because your room is smaller and every member is a business person, the right trips get attention fast. Mobile bidding opens the auction to supporters who cannot be in the room, so your total goes up. You can add an experience the morning of the event if you see a gap, and it fits right in.

Your club has deep community roots. You know your bidders by name, and they are local business people who trust each other. Decisions happen fast because there is no long approval chain. What works is a few trips that feel right for your town or region. You do not need a long list of items; a Napa trip or a CMA package can anchor the auction. Relationships matter more than flash, so the experiences you offer should feel personal.

There is no upfront cost. You browse over 140 experiences, reserve what you like for free, and get marketing materials. You only pay for an experience if it sells, keep 100% over the cost, and can sell experiences multiple times if the bidding gets hot. You are not too late: items can be added the same day as your event. If an item does not sell, you owe nothing. A starting bid set 15-20% above cost means profit from the first bid. How many experiences you offer depends on your crowd size; the team helps you fine-tune that.

You choose a few experiences that fit your crowd. You receive a one-page PDF for each, with photos and details, plus a marketing email with tips. At your dinner, you run the auction your way: live, silent, or mobile. After the event, you send the winners' details to Giveback XP's Travel Team, and they book the trips. Donors have up to two years to travel for non-event trips; event-based packages like the CMAs are for that year's event.

After your event, the night feels different. Members are already asking about next year's trips. You raised more money without risking a dime, and the travel details are handled. Your auction is no longer a repeat of last year; it is the part of the night people look forward to.
